Campus Projects

The Vaccine Promotion Project

The Vaccine Promotion Project is a grant-funded project to increase vaccine confidence among students, faculty, and staff for all vaccines, including the COVID-19 vaccine. While access to vaccines is not problematic for most North Dakotans, many students do not understand why it’s important to be vaccinated when they are young and healthy. The project aims to increase immunization rates through awareness and education from trusted sources, including peers at the college level.

Vaccine Ambassadors
& Influencers

Students can play an important role to address knowledge gaps and increase education about vaccines among their peers. This is why we have a team of Immunization Ambassadors and influencers that are working to create peer-generated education, social media content, and participate in in-person events on campus. Peer-to-peer education is a great way to build trust and encourage fellow students to make informed decisions about their own health.
